Origin and licence lore

The LEGO brick is at the heart of the brand’s identity. Its system of studs and tubes allows users to assemble, dismantle and then rebuild a vast variety of creations freely using pieces that are compatible with one another.

The 4x2 format, comprising eight studs arranged in two rows, is one of the most classic shapes in the LEGO system and features in countless constructions, vehicles, buildings and original creations.

By transforming this brick into a large decorative lamp, Paladone plays on the change of scale and the visual impact of an object that has become iconic far beyond the world of toys.

This Pink 4x2 LEGO Brick lamp thus translates LEGO’s simple, geometric and colourful aesthetic into a light-emitting object designed for everyday décor.
