Origin and background of the licence (Lore)

The LEGO brick is the cornerstone of the brand’s universe. Thanks to its system of studs and tubes, it allows for the creation of a multitude of structures whilst remaining easy to dismantle and reuse.

The 2x2 format is one of the most classic shapes in the LEGO system. Wider than a 1x1 brick, it offers a square surface comprising four studs and is regularly used as the base for many constructions.

By transposing this iconic shape into a large-scale illuminated format, Paladone plays with the change of scale and transforms a miniature building block into a decorative object in its own right.

This LEGO Blue 2x2 Brick lamp thus allows you to incorporate the famous brand’s visual identity into your home décor, whilst retaining the simple, geometric and colourful aesthetic that has made LEGO so successful.
