Origin and character background
Rin Shima is one of the central and most iconic heroines of the refreshing slice-of-life series Au Grand Air (Yuru Camp), adapted from the original work by mangaka Afro. Unlike most of her fellow members of the outdoor club, Rin is a fan of solo camping. Above all, she appreciates the tranquillity of the off-season, the solitude of winter landscapes and the breathtaking view of Mount Fuji at sunrise. Equipped with her trusty scooter, her books and her meticulously chosen gear, she savours these peaceful moments far from the hustle and bustle of daily life, although her chance encounter with the bubbly Nadeshiko Kagamihara gradually leads her to embrace the joys of group camping.
This superb 23 cm figurine captures the very essence of her visual identity and calm temperament. It meticulously highlights her signature hairstyle featuring a large, compact bun, her gentle gaze, and the careful detailing of the draping on her warm winter clothes. The attention to texture and respect for proportions create a wonderfully soft effect, essential for bringing a breath of fresh air and a sense of cosy nostalgia to your display case.
