Origin and backstory of HUNTR/X (Lore)

In the animated film KPop Demon Hunters, HUNTR/X is a trio comprising Rumi, Mira and Zoey. In the public eye, the three young women are K-pop stars capable of filling stadiums; in secret, they are also demon hunters tasked with protecting their fans and the human world from supernatural forces.

Each member has a distinct role within the group. Rumi is the leader and lead singer, whilst concealing her own demonic heritage. Mira serves as the lead dancer and choreographer, whilst Zoey is the trio’s rapper and lyricist. Their friendship and their ability to function as a true team form a central element of the story.

Their music also plays a supernatural role. HUNTR/X seeks to strengthen the Honmoon, a barrier protecting the human world from demons. The ultimate goal is to achieve the Golden Honmoon, a version powerful enough to permanently seal this protection. However, their mission is threatened by the Saja Boys, a rival group made up of demons disguised as K-pop idols.

This HUNTR/X stationery set thus translates the trio’s visual identity into a functional collection for the office or school, bringing together a range of everyday accessories inspired by the musical and fantastical world of K-Pop Demon Hunters.
