Origin and world of the character (Lore)
The daughter of the famous magician Giovanni Zatara, Zatanna divides her life between her career as a world-famous illusionist and her role as a mystical defender of the Earth. Unlike ordinary conjurers, she has a true mastery of pure magic, inherited from the Homo Magi lineage. Her special magic lies in the incantation of her spells, which she pronounces by speaking backwards (the Logomancy). Faced with esoteric and demonic threats that the classic Justice League can do nothing about, she joins forces with John Constantine, Deadman and Swamp Thing to form the Justice League Dark. This action figure celebrates the presence and mystical charm of this key heroine of DC Comics' magical forces.
