Origin and character background
In the occult world of Jujutsu Kaisen, Satoru Gojo is recognised worldwide as the strongest exorcist of his generation, a status he owes to the unique combination of two extremely rare hereditary traits of the Gojo clan: the ‘Limited ’ (Mukagen) and the ‘Six Eyes’ (Rikugan). TheHidden Inventory arc takes us back to his past, in 2006, when he was still just a first-year student at the Tokyo Exorcism School alongside his classmate Suguru Geto. Tasked with protecting and escorting Stellar Plasma, a young girl destined to fuse with Master Tengen, Gojo will see his limits tested and his worldview turned upside down during his critical confrontation with the exorcist killer, Toji Fushiguro. It is in the wake of these tragic events that he will fully awaken to reach a level of power bordering on the divine.
