This Banpresto figurine depicts Jotaro Kujo, the protagonist of *JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders*, from the Mometria collection. Standing approximately 22 cm tall, it highlights the commanding presence of the third JoJo through a calm and confident pose, true to his characteristic demeanour in the third part of the saga.
Jotaro is depicted standing in his black school uniform with a long jacket, one hand raised towards his famous cap whilst the other rests near his belt. His outfit features several of the character’s iconic details, notably the gold chain attached to the collar, the metallic embellishments, the belt with geometric patterns, and the cap that seems to blend gradually into his black hair.
The Mometria collection favours poses that capture the characters’ personalities and visual presence without resorting to complex fight scenes. Jotaro thus adopts an upright and composed posture that suits his reserved yet determined temperament particularly well. The 22 cm sculpture is large enough to highlight the folds of his long coat, the details of his uniform and his stern expression.

Character background and lore
Jotaro Kujo is the main protagonist of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders, the third major arc of Hirohiko Araki’s manga. A Japanese sixth-former descended from the Joestar family, he is portrayed as a young man with great composure and a strong sense of justice, although his forthright manner and temperament can give him a reputation as a troublemaker.
At the start of Stardust Crusaders, Jotaro believes he is possessed by an ‘evil spirit’. His grandfather, Joseph Joestar, reveals to him that it is in fact a Stand, a supernatural manifestation known as Star Platinum. This Stand is characterised by exceptional strength, speed and precision, as well as close-range attacks based on rapid bursts of punches.
When his mother Holly falls seriously ill as a result of DIO’s return, Jotaro leaves Japan with Joseph Joestar, Muhammad Avdol, Noriaki Kakyoin and Jean Pierre Polnareff. Their journey takes them to Egypt to confront DIO and put an end to the long-standing rivalry between him and the Joestar family. This adventure establishes Jotaro as one of the most iconic characters in the entire JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure franchise.
