Origin and background of the character
Launched in 2002 by Nickelodeon as a follow-up to the Oscar-nominated film, the animated series *Jimmy Neutron (The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius) follows the adventures of James Isaac Neutron, an 11-year-old schoolboy with a hyper-developed brain and an extraordinary IQ. From his secret laboratory hidden beneath his garden, he devises revolutionary but often unstable inventions to solve everyday problems, which regularly trigger farcical disasters in Retroville. Flanked by his faithful robotic dog Goddard and his friends Sheen and Carl, Jimmy always ends up finding the perfect scientific solution during a memorable ‘Brain Blast’. This figurine perfectly captures his famous cone-shaped hairstyle and classic look, complete with his red T-shirt emblazoned with an atom, making it a must-have centrepiece for all fans of Nickelodeon classics.
