Origin and character background
Jaws is the ultimate, elusive antagonist of the cinematic masterpiece Jaws, directed by Steven Spielberg in 1975 and adapted from the novel by Peter Benchley. A true monster of nature of unprecedented ferocity, this giant great white shark spreads terror along the beaches of the seaside resort of Amity Island, prompting police chief Martin Brody, biologist Matt Hooper and hunter Quint to venture out to sea to track it down. This “Super 6” version commemorates the iconic scene where the shark, cornering its prey, swallows a metal diving tank, delivering an explosive climax etched into Hollywood history. An essential large-scale model to crown any collection dedicated to horror film classics.
