This premium official soft toy brings a touch of softness and originality straight from the magical world of Studio Ghibli. This collectable soft toy celebrates the most laid-back and endearing canine companion in Japanese pop culture.
The design incorporates the unique stylistic features of the Japanese Komorebi collection, renowned for its delicate finish and natural look. This soft toy faithfully captures the low, elongated and compact silhouette of this irresistible little dog. Its soft polyester plush texture offers a wonderfully tender tactile experience, ideal for cuddles or for adding a touch of poetry to a desk.
The soft toy faithfully recreates its distinctive physical features, with its long beige coat, drooping ears and unique little face, almost entirely hidden by its fur. Its weary gaze and unflappable expression are faithfully reproduced to instantly evoke its on-screen appearances. It is crafted from silky polyester fibres and features a clever weighting system using polyethylene beads at its base. This system ensures excellent stability when placed in a sitting position, preventing it from toppling over. Designed to adorn a collector’s shelf, brighten up a bedroom or accompany enthusiasts in their daily lives, this collector’s item comes with its official Ghibli cardboard label.

Origin and character lore
In Hayao Miyazaki’s 2004 feature film, Howl’s Moving Castle, Hihn (often spelled Heen) is an old dog with a particularly nonchalant disposition who serves as a spy and magical courier for the powerful royal witch, Madame Sulliman. Originally tasked with escorting or keeping an eye on the wizard Hauru and the young Sophie, this animal with a shuffling gait and wheezy bark soon grows attached to the castle’s little troupe. Effectively disobeying his mistress, he chooses to stay by Sophie’s side, becoming a full member of this improvised and unusual family. Despite his apparent lack of energy and comical laziness, his silent loyalty brings precious comfort to the fortress’s inhabitants. This Komorebi version celebrates, with great humour and tenderness, the unique silhouette and irresistible charm of this iconic canine character from the Ghibli universe.
