Origin and world of the character
Created in 1974 by the Japanese company Sanrio, Kitty White (better known as Hello Kitty) is an anthropomorphic schoolgirl drawn as a little white cat with a ribbon over her ear. She has become an international pop culture icon, with a wide range of seasonal themes. This 'Spooky' edition associates her with the Halloween festivities, where she sports a costume with the aesthetic of a ghost or creature of horror. The glow-in-the-dark details accentuate the nocturnal and thematic effect associated with this popular celebration, while fitting in with the codes of the Funko collection.
