This Good Smile Company soft toy depicts Hatsune Miku in her Digital Stars 2021 outfit, inspired by the artwork created by illustrator Tsunako for the HATSUNE MIKU Digital Stars 2021 event. Standing approximately 17 cm tall, it captures this particularly colourful outfit in a compact and soft format, whilst retaining the key graphic elements of the original illustration.
Miku is depicted with her characteristic long turquoise hair and an outfit dominated by pastel shades. The costume combines several soft colours, ribbons and various decorative motifs in the shape of stars and hearts.
The soft toy design deliberately simplifies the character’s proportions to give her a rounder, more expressive silhouette. Miku’s long pigtails are retained on either side of her head, whilst the various parts of the outfit are reproduced using colourful fabrics, embroidery and appliqué details. Measuring 17 cm, the model remains compact enough to be displayed on a shelf, a desk or alongside other merchandise from the Hatsune Miku range.

Character background and lore
Hatsune Miku is a virtual singer associated with the voice synthesis software developed by Crypton Future Media. The software enables the generation of a singing voice from lyrics and melodies entered by the user. Since its launch, Miku has become a genuine international cultural phenomenon, driven by the creations of musicians, illustrators, animators and other artists, particularly those from internet culture.
Digital Stars is a project that began as a side event to the international MIKU EXPO tours. Its aim is to bring together and showcase musicians and creators from around the world who are influenced by Hatsune Miku and internet-related creative cultures. The project has expanded through performances, collaborations, DJ events and music compilations organised both in Japan and internationally.
HATSUNE MIKU Digital Stars 2021 took place on 29 August 2021 and featured an official visual designed by Tsunako. It is this interpretation of Miku, with her pastel-coloured outfit adorned with ribbons, stars and colourful details, that serves as the direct inspiration for this Good Smile Company soft toy.
