Origin and character’s world
Inspired by the first film in the series, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, released in 2001, this model recreates one of the most touching and defining moments of J.K. Rowling’s entire franchise. Whilst young Harry Potter is kept in the dark about his magical origins by the Dursley family, Rubeus Hagrid bursts through the doors of their secret refuge in the middle of the night to find him. To celebrate the young orphan’s eleventh birthday, the big-hearted half-giant presents him with a slightly squashed chocolate cake, iced in pink and adorned with the clumsy green inscription ‘Happee Birthdae Harry’. It is at this very moment that Hagrid utters the legendary line that will change the boy’s destiny forever: “You’re a wizard, Harry.” This large collector’s model captures all the tenderness and kindness of this iconic scene.
