Relive one of the most famous scenes in the history of rock music videos with this POP! figurine Rocks No. 513, dedicated to Slash in ‘November Rain’. Designed by Funko, it depicts the Guns N’ Roses guitarist in an outfit inspired by the early 1990s, with his electric guitar in hand.
Slash is depicted with his thick, curly black hair, which falls around his face and almost completely covers the upper half of his figure. A large pair of black sunglasses with grey frames replaces his usual top hat, giving this version a look that’s characteristic of the period depicted.
The figure wears a black jacket left open across the chest, revealing several tattoos and a pendant. Black leather trousers, a blue belt and high boots complete his outfit. The overall look captures the guitarist’s understated and instantly recognisable hard rock aesthetic from the *Use Your Illusion* era.
Slash is holding an electric guitar with an orange-brown finish, inspired by his favourite double-cutaway instrument. His left hand rests on the neck whilst his right hand is positioned near the strings. With his legs apart and slightly bent, the figure strikes a stable and energetic pose, evoking a solo performed in the heat of a live concert. The official artwork confirms the curly hair, black glasses, open jacket and brown guitar.
Made from vinyl, this POP! figure stands approximately 10.9 cm tall. It is presented in an illustrated window box bearing the Guns N’ Roses logo and the number 513. Funko describes this edition as a tribute to an iconic musical moment from the 1990s.
Slash, born Saul Hudson, is a guitarist best known as a member of Guns N’ Roses. His expressive playing style, frequent use of long sustained notes and distinctive silhouette have played a major part in shaping the band’s musical and visual identity.
He joined the classic line-up of Guns N’ Roses alongside Axl Rose, Duff McKagan, Izzy Stradlin and Steven Adler. The band made their mark in the late 1980s with a style of hard rock blending influences from blues, punk and the great bands of previous decades. Guns N’ Roses were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2012.
The top hat became one of Slash’s iconic accessories from 1985 onwards. The guitarist explains that he bought it in a shop on Melrose Avenue, then decorated it with a belt adorned with metal studs. This POP! figure deliberately departs from that look to recreate another of the musician’s famous appearances, characterised by his curly hair and large black sunglasses.
