See Rikka Takarada in a more casual outfit with this Swacchao! POP UP PARADE figurine! Pyjamas Ver. XL Size, produced by Good Smile Company and inspired by the film GRIDMAN UNIVERSE. This version depicts the heroine in her pyjamas, in a seated pose specially designed for the Swacchao! collection, with a total height of approximately 20 cm.
Unlike traditional POP UP PARADE figures, which stand on a base, the Swacchao! range is based on a concept that allows the characters to be placed in a sitting position on various surfaces: shelves, the edge of a piece of furniture or any other suitable support. This XL version emphasises Rikka’s presence whilst maintaining a more everyday and relaxed setting, in keeping with her nightwear.
Rikka Takarada is one of the main characters in SSSS.GRIDMAN. A secondary school pupil and classmate of Yuta Hibiki and Sho Utsumi, she becomes one of the key members of the Gridman Alliance, the group that supports Yuta and Gridman in their fight against the kaiju threatening their city.
Rikka also plays an important role on a personal level. In particular, her bond with Akane Shinjo forms one of the emotional threads running through SSSS.GRIDMAN, whilst her relationship with Yuta evolves as the story progresses. Unlike the heroes directly involved in the battles, she acts primarily as a support for the Gridman Alliance and helps to maintain the bonds between its various members.
The film GRIDMAN UNIVERSE continues this universe by bringing together the characters and worlds of SSSS.GRIDMAN and SSSS.DYNAZENON. Produced jointly as part of a project by Tsuburaya Productions and TRIGGER, it brings together Rikka, Yuta, Gridman and the protagonists of DYNAZENON in a new story.
This ‘Pajamas Ver.’ deliberately moves away from the usual fight scenes and uniforms to present Rikka in a more everyday setting. In line with the ‘seated’ concept of the Swacchao! range, it thus offers a more relaxed portrayal of the character within the POP UP PARADE collection.
