Character background and lore
In the G.I. Joe universe, Master Sergeant Duke embodies the heart and soul of the global special operations forces. A versatile field officer, fluent in several languages and an expert in combat tactics, he consistently turns down promotions to officer rank in order to remain as close as possible to his troops. His primary mission remains unchanged: to lead his elite soldiers in defending global freedom and neutralising the worldwide threats posed by the criminal organisation Cobra. This ‘USA’ edition commemorates his values of courage and patriotism, and his relentless fight for freedom against the tyranny of Commander Cobra
