This Kotobukiya model kit depicts Stylet in her Swimsuit Low Visibility Ver., a variation on the original Frame Arms Girl range. Standing approximately 16 cm tall when assembled, this version is based on the Stylet Swimsuit Ver., replacing her usual colours with a more discreet ‘Low Visibility’ palette, inspired by the shades used on certain items of military equipment.
Here, Stylet wears a high-cut swimsuit with a deliberately aerodynamic design, complemented by several mechanical elements that directly evoke her aeronautical origins: small wings distributed around her body, stabilisers, a dorsal thruster and new headgear. The colour scheme primarily combines various shades of grey and green, whilst his hair also features a new green colouring specially chosen for this Low Visibility edition.
The kit includes three new pre-painted faces to vary her expression: a subtle smile, a shouting smile and a surprised expression. The new front hairpieces can be used with or without the headgear. Several accessories inspired by Frame Arms Girl Innocentia are also included, notably various mechanical animal ears, along with new black cat ears specially sculpted for this version.
The kit includes a liquid-cartridge Smart Gun and a submachine gun. The double-jointed elbows enhance the range of poses, whilst five types of ball-jointed PVC hands are provided for each side. The back-mounted booster can also be reconfigured into a small fighter-type craft. Decals for the eyes and various markings complete the set.
Compatibility is also a key part of the Frame Arms Girl concept. The hands can be fitted with a wide range of weapons from the M.S.G. and Frame Arms ranges, whilst the fins on the thighs use standard 3 mm connectors, allowing further equipment to be added. The armoured legs and certain components from the original Stylet can also be adapted for this version to create customised configurations.

Character background and lore
Frame Arms Girl is a spin-off series from Kotobukiya’s Frame Arms range of robotic model kits. The concept involves reinterpreting the various Frame Arms mechas as bishōjo-style female characters, whilst retaining their key mechanical features, weaponry and broad compatibility with Kotobukiya’s customisation systems.
Stylet is directly inspired by the Frame Arms Stylet robot designed by Takayuki Yanase. Humikane Shimada transformed this mechanical design into a female character whilst retaining its aviation-inspired visual identity: aerodynamic lines, wings, thrusters and components reminiscent of a fighter jet. Kotobukiya describes Stylet as one of the Frame Arms Girls whose design is particularly influenced by the aesthetics of high-speed military aircraft.
The Swimsuit Ver. offers a lighter take on this concept. The body dispenses with much of the usual armour in favour of an aerodynamically cut swimsuit, whilst retaining the wings, headgear and various pieces of equipment that evoke Stylet’s aerial capabilities. This variant remains fully compatible with the majority of accessories and parts from other Frame Arms Girl models.
The Low Visibility Ver. does not represent a new narrative incarnation of the character: it is, above all, a colour variation on the Stylet Swimsuit Ver. The colours of the body and equipment have been darkened and desaturated to achieve a ‘low visibility’ aesthetic, whilst the hair has been changed to green. This colour scheme was also chosen to make it easier to visually pair the model with Kotobukiya’s wide range of M.S.G. equipment.
