History and background of the model
Monstera deliciosa, colloquially known as False Philodendron because of the characteristic perforations on its mature leaves, is a perennial plant in the Araceae family native to the tropical rainforests of Central America. Very popular in interior design and urban-inspired decoration, it has become a veritable emblem of contemporary plant culture and modern graphic motifs.
Developed by the manufacturer Funko as part of its original thematic series, this "Jumbo" format edition is generously sized to highlight the structure of its foliage in the form of the famous stylised vinyl figurines.
