Origin and character background
Son Gohan is the eldest son of the protagonist Son Goku and Chichi, from the global Dragon Ball Z saga created by the late master Akira Toriyama. Endowed with extraordinary latent fighting potential that often surpasses that of pure-blooded Saiyans from a very young age, he faces numerous trials in which he must learn to channel his anger to protect Earth and his loved ones. Whether it be his memorable battle against the Saiyans, his gruelling training on Namek, or his life-or-death duel against the Demon King Dabura alongside the Kaioshin, Gohan shines through his martial ingenuity. Banpresto’s “Match Makers” collection is particularly renowned for capturing the franchise’s most iconic battles through complementary dynamic sculptures. This figurine meticulously captures the neat folds of his combat outfit, his spiky black hair and the fierce expression on his face in the heat of battle, establishing itself as a prime piece to stand opposite the figurine of his dedicated opponent.
