DISNEY - Stitch Koala - Plush Toy Yuyus 28cm

Meet Stitch in a new, super-cute version with this large soft toy from Simba Toys’ Disney YuYus collection. Standing approximately 28 cm tall, this version depicts Experiment 626 dressed as a koala and brings the characteristic ‘kawaii’ style of the YuYus range to life on a larger scale.

This soft toy combines two distinct textures: a body covered in soft plush fabric and a face moulded from vinyl. Stitch has a cheerful expression, with his eyes closed and his tongue sticking out slightly. His grey-beige koala costume features a hood with large round ears, a small brown nose and a light-coloured belly, whilst Stitch’s long blue and pink ears stick out from either side of the outfit.

Measuring 28 cm, this version is considerably larger than the small 12 cm YuYus keyrings. It can be used as a soft toy, a decorative item or a collector’s piece. Simba Toys presents it in a decorative display box that also allows the character to remain visible whilst still in its packaging.

Origin and character background (Lore)

Stitch was originally Experiment 626, a creature genetically engineered to cause chaos. After escaping and landing on Earth, he meets Lilo, a young Hawaiian girl who adopts him, thinking he is a particularly strange animal. As their relationship develops, Stitch gradually discovers loyalty, friendship and, above all, the concept of ‘ohana’, or family.

His appearance deliberately blends alien features with traits reminiscent of various animals, which lends itself particularly well to the YuYus concept. In this version, Simba Toys takes this idea a step further by dressing Stitch in a koala costume, whilst still leaving his blue face, large ears and mischievous expression visible. This is a decorative reinterpretation of the character and not a costume taken directly from the original *Lilo & Stitch* story.
