Origin and character background (Lore)

Snow White is the protagonist of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Walt Disney’s first animated feature film, released in 1937. Disney describes her as a gentle and kind-hearted princess whose kindness allows her to easily form bonds with the animals and people she meets.

However, her beauty arouses the jealousy of her stepmother, the Queen, who regularly consults her Magic Mirror to find out who is ‘the fairest of them all’. When the mirror names Snow White, the Queen decides to get rid of her. The young princess manages to flee into the forest and finds refuge in the home of the seven dwarfs: Doc, Sneezy, Grumpy, Happy, Bashful, Sleepy and Dopey.

The Queen eventually tracks her down and, disguised as an old woman, tricks her into eating a poisoned apple, which plunges her into a death-like sleep. The spell can only be broken by true love, and the Prince finally manages to wake Snow White.

This Iron Studios figurine presents a more serene portrayal of the character, focusing on her gentleness and her connection with animals, with a bird perched on her hand and a pose directly inspired by the film’s classic imagery.
