Origin and background of the character
Released in 1942, Bambi is the fifth "Animation Classic" from Walt Disney Studios and remains one of the most poetic masterpieces in the history of cinema. The film tells the coming-of-age story of a young fawn, born the ‘Great Prince of the Forest’, who learns to grow up with the changing seasons alongside his faithful companions, Thumper the rabbit and Flower the skunk. Facing significant trials, Bambi embodies innocence, resilience and the wild beauty of nature. This commemorative figurine, released to mark the 80th anniversary, beautifully captures the innocence of the young animal admiring the woodland flora. It is a must-have for anyone nostalgic for the golden age of animation and lovers of the magical world of Disney.
