Save your spare change with this classic Mickey Mouse figurine money box, designed by Monogram International. Officially licensed by Disney, it transforms the famous mouse into an item that is both practical and decorative, perfect for a bedroom, an office or a collection dedicated to the world of Mickey.
Mickey is depicted standing in his traditional outfit, with his large round ears, red shorts with yellow buttons, white gloves and yellow shoes. His smiling face, sticking-out tongue and raised thumb give him a particularly cheerful and lively expression.
The money box is made of PVC and features an internal compartment for storing coins and small folded notes. Its figurative design also means it can be displayed as a decorative item, even when not being used to collect savings.
Mickey Mouse is one of the founding and most recognisable characters in the Disney universe. Created in the late 1920s, he first appeared in the animated short film *Steamboat Willie*, which helped to popularise the character with the public.
Optimistic, brave and curious, Mickey has many adventures alongside Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and Pluto. Depending on the story, he may be portrayed as an explorer, a detective, a musician or simply a member of a community populated by his friends.
His classic look is based on several instantly recognisable features: large round ears, red shorts with yellow buttons, white gloves and oversized shoes. This outfit is precisely the one featured in the design of this piggy bank.
Over the decades, Mickey has become one of Disney’s most iconic symbols. His warm personality and timeless design ensure he remains a constant presence in films, TV series, theme parks and numerous collections of decorative items.
