History and background of the model
Created by mangaka Koyoharu Gotōge, Demon Slayer first appeared in 2016 in Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine before becoming a global animation phenomenon. The plot follows the journey of Tanjiro Kamado, a kind-hearted young man who joins the ranks of the Demon Slayer Army in order to find a way to return his demon-turned sister Nezuko to her human form. Each Demon Slayer is given a Kasugai Raven, a bird with the ability to speak, to carry out the missions assigned by the organisation.
Published by Funko, this figurine illustrates the collaborative relationship between the main protagonist and his winged messenger, essential for following his adventures against the forces of Muzan Kibutsuji.
