Origin and background of the character
Created by manga artist Koyoharu Gotouge, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a global phenomenon in Japanese animation. The story follows Tanjiro Kamado, a kind-hearted young charcoal seller whose life is turned upside down when his family is slaughtered by a demon, leaving only his little sister Nezuko, who has herself been transformed into a demonic creature. To restore her humanity, Tanjiro joins the Demon Slayer Corps. Through his rigorous training, he learns to master the Water Breathing technique before awakening the fearsome Dance of the Fire God (Hinokami Kagura), an ancient technique of devastating luminous power passed down by his father. This ‘Dancing Flash’ version captures all the hero’s vigour and determination as he performs these rapid, fiery moves, making it a must-have accessory for all fans of the series.
