This Claynel collectable figurine depicts Doma, the Second Upper Moon of the Twelve Demon Moons in *Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba*. Presented in a non-scale format measuring approximately 16.6 cm in height including his armchair, the figure is modelled on an original illustration created by the ufotable studio. The piece is supplied fully pre-painted and ready for display.

Rather than depicting Doma in the heat of battle, Claynel has opted here for a particularly composed pose. The demon is seated in a red and purple armchair, legs crossed, holding an open folding fan in one hand whilst the other is drawn up close to his face. This relaxed demeanour deliberately contrasts with the character’s dangerous nature and captures the unsettling elegance associated with him.

The sculptor has paid particular attention to Doma’s face. Her calm smile, multicoloured eyes and long, light-coloured hair are meticulously rendered. Her golden-yellow fan is decorated with pink and green floral motifs, whilst her outfit combines a red top, black accents and loose-fitting light grey trousers. The armchair forms an integral part of the composition and contributes significantly to its theatrical character.

Thanks to its compact size and seated pose, this depiction of Doma stands out from action figures or statues adopting an aggressive stance. It is particularly well-suited to a display dedicated to the Upper Moons, the antagonists of Demon Slayer, or characters linked to the Infinity Castle arc.

Character background and lore

Doma is one of the most powerful demons under the command of Muzan Kibutsuji. He holds the rank of Upper Moon Two within the Twelve Demon Moons, just behind Kokushibo and ahead of Akaza. The official Demon Slayer website describes him, in particular, as a demon who is constantly smiling, whose demeanour may seem light-hearted or nonchalant despite his particularly dangerous status.

His appearance plays a major part in creating this unsettling impression. Doma almost constantly wears a serene smile and behaves with apparent courtesy, even in violent situations. His multicoloured eyes, which bear his rank amongst the Upper Moons, are one of his most instantly recognisable distinguishing features.

Doma also has a significant connection with several members of the Demon Slayer Corps. In the Infinity Castle arc, he notably faces off against Shinobu Kocho, who is seeking revenge for her elder sister, Kanae. The confrontation then continues with Kanao Tsuyuri and Inosuke Hashibira, giving the character a major role in this part of the story.

In battle, Doma primarily uses two war fans and his ice-based Blood Demon Art. He is capable of unleashing numerous ice-based techniques and launching large-scale attacks, reflecting the exceptional level of power associated with his Upper Moon Two rank.

However, this Claynel figurine chooses not to depict these abilities directly. Instead, it highlights the contrast that defines Doma: a refined appearance, a peaceful smile and an almost nonchalant posture concealing one of Demon Slayer’s most dangerous adversaries. The choice of armchair and fan thus serves to convey his personality without resorting to a spectacular battle scene.
