Meet Chachamaru, the little messenger cat associated with Tamayo and Yushiro, with this adorable figurine from Banpresto’s Fluffy Puffy collection. Standing approximately 9 cm tall, it depicts the cat in a calm and expressive sitting pose, perfectly suited to the endearing style of this range.
The distinctive feature of the Fluffy Puffy range is its flocked finish, which has a soft, velvety feel and is designed to enhance the fur-like appearance of the characters depicted. This finish suits Chachamaru particularly well and gives the figurine a warmer look than a traditional PVC sculpture.
With its small size and flocked texture, Chachamaru makes for an original addition to any Demon Slayer collection, particularly alongside the figurines dedicated to Tamayo and Yushiro.
Chachamaru is a small cat closely associated with Tamayo and Yushiro in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Unlike the demon slayers and demons who take centre stage, he plays a more discreet yet nonetheless useful role within their network.
In particular, Chachamaru acts as a messenger, carrying information and various items needed for Tamayo’s research. In this way, he indirectly contributes to the efforts to better understand demons and develop ways to fight them.
His calm demeanour and role as a companion contrast with the violence of the Demon Slayer universe, making him a particularly popular supporting character. The Fluffy Puffy collection is therefore perfectly suited to represent him, thanks to its small size and finish that mimics the softness of fur.
