Character background and lore
Inspired by the work and expanded universe of Dandadan, Aira Shiratori is a popular secondary school pupil who has spent much of her life pursuing a single goal: to preserve her apparent purity and find her place in a world she believes to be under threat from demonic forces. Convinced that she is a divine chosen one entrusted with a sacred mission, her life is irrevocably turned upside down when she comes into possession of a mysterious golden marble belonging to Momo Ayase. This artefact awakens her spiritual perception and leads her to cross paths with the cantankerous and terrifying Granny Turbo. Following her confrontation with the Acrobatic Mantis entity, she subconsciously merges with the latter’s spirit, inheriting extraordinary strength of character and devastating physical abilities linked to her hair. This mystical alliance transforms the once haughty young girl into an indispensable ally, using her new powers to fight off alien invasions and malevolent spirits alongside her companions.
