Origin and character background (Lore)
Created by designer Miyuki Okumura for the Japanese firm Sanrio in 2001, Cinnamoroll is a small white puppy with expressive blue eyes and long, floppy ears that allow him to fly through the air like wings. Taking his name from his spiral tail, which resembles acinnamon roll, he was born on a cloud floating in the sky before being taken in by the owner of Café Cinnamon. Having become the café’s official mascot, this gentle, shy and deeply kind-hearted character spends his days dozing on customers’ laps or embarking on heart-warming adventures with his loyal friends Chiffon, Mocha, Espresso, Cappuccino and Milk. This minimalist mug celebrates the charm of this flying puppy, a universal symbol of gentleness and comfort.
