Origin and character background
Directly inspired by the cinematic masterpiece Casino, directed by Martin Scorsese in 1995, this figure depicts the fearsome and ruthless Nicky Santoro, masterfully portrayed on screen by Joe Pesci. Sent to Las Vegas by the Chicago mafia to protect the interests of his childhood friend Sam "Ace" Rothstein and secure the illicit money from the slot machines, this brutal and unpredictable enforcer quickly descends into excessive violence and establishes his own crime syndicate. His growing paranoia and explosive temper in the mid-1970s will precipitate the downfall of the casino empire. This Funko Pop! figure captures with great graphic fidelity his immaculate period costume, his characteristic hairstyle and his signature intimidating gaze. A must-have piece to add a touch of character, depth and cinematic nostalgia to your display cabinet.
