Universe & Lore
Created by the late mangaka Kentaro Miura, Berserk tells the tragic and violent epic of Guts, a lone mercenary born of death and raised on the battlefields. Once a member of the prestigious Band of the Hawk led by the charismatic Griffith, Guts’s life is turned into an absolute nightmare following the fateful event known as the Eclipse. Branded on the neck with the Mark of Sacrifice, he becomes the constant target of demons and malevolent spirits. Armed with his monstrous sword, the Dragon Slayer, and his artificial arm fitted with a cannon, Guts embarks on a merciless crusade for vengeance, fighting every second against the inevitability of his fate to protect his own humanity.
