Origin and character’s universe
First broadcast in 1999, the cult animated series *Batman Beyond* expands on Bruce Timm’s universe by transporting viewers to the high-tech future of Neo-Gotham in the year 2039. Weakened by the weight of the years and heart problems, Bruce Wayne has permanently hung up his cape, passing the torch to the young Terry McGinnis. However, the memorable episode ‘Disappearing Inking’ pushes the elderly billionaire to his absolute limits. Faced with an invisible threat that infiltrates the Batcave itself to steal vital technological secrets, Bruce has no choice but to don a heavy cybernetic exoskeleton to compensate for his physical frailty. This power armour enables him to stand up to his attackers and prove that he remains the master of the house. This Funko Pop! figurine captures, with immense nostalgia, that iconic moment when the mentor becomes a front-line soldier once more, establishing itself as a must-have for all fans of the DC Comics universe.
