Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Shadowheart is a half-elf cleric of Shar, the goddess of darkness and loss, and one of the first companions recruited by the player in Baldur's Gate 3. Having voluntarily erased most of her childhood memories in order to carry out a sacred suicide mission, she is carrying a mysterious hexagonal box called the Cosmic Prism. Torn between her fanatical devotion to a ruthless deity and her deep compassionate nature, her story explores the secrets of her past and the possibility of freeing herself from the dark influence of her cult.
