Meet Magneto, the Master of Magnetism and a key figure in the X-Men universe, with this Funko POP! Marvel No. 1640 figure inspired by Avengers: Doomsday. Standing approximately 9.7 cm tall, this version depicts an aged and battle-scarred Magneto, according to Funko’s official description, in the stylised format characteristic of the POP! collection.
The character wears a burgundy-red outfit, paired with a dark cape and his iconic metallic purple helmet. His face features a grey beard, emphasising this older incarnation of the character. Magneto strikes an upright pose, with one hand raised as if he were about to use his magnetic powers, giving the figure an instantly recognisable stance despite its stylised proportions.
Presented in the traditional Funko display box, numbered 1640, this figure is part of the first POP! collection dedicated to Avengers: Doomsday. It can be displayed in its packaging or combined with the other characters in this wave, including Doctor Doom, Thor, Yelena Belova, Mister Fantastic and Cyclops.

Magneto, also known as Max Eisenhardt, possesses the mutant ability to manipulate magnetic fields and, by extension, to control metal. His life has been deeply marked by the persecution he has endured, which fuels his determination to ensure the survival of mutants, even if it means resorting to radical methods. Marvel portrays him as a character who can be either an enemy or an ally of the X-Men, but who is constantly guided by his desire to defend his own kind.
This philosophy has long set him at odds with Charles Xavier. Whilst Xavier ideally seeks peaceful coexistence between humans and mutants, Magneto is far more distrustful of humanity and regularly advocates a separatist or confrontational approach. This ideological conflict makes him the X-Men’s first major adversary, although their shared history gradually becomes much more complex, leading him to collaborate with them on several occasions.
