Discover Red Guardian (Alexei Shostakov) in miniature form with this Bitty POP! Town set from Funko, inspired by *Avengers: Doomsday*. This set combines a Bitty POP! figure of Red Guardian with a compact replica of the Avengers Tower, allowing you to bring the character and setting together in a single small collectable scene.
Red Guardian retains the key features of his appearance: his moustache and beard, large glasses with yellow lenses, and an outfit combining red, blue and gold detailing. The Avengers Tower, meanwhile, features a stylised grey and blue design, with the large Avengers ‘A’ logo positioned above its entrance. An opening in the centre of the building allows the figure to be placed directly inside.
The Bitty POP! measures approximately 2.3 cm, whilst the Avengers Tower stands approximately 5.1 cm tall. Red Guardian comes in a transparent, rigid acrylic case, the removable base of which also serves as a display stand. He can be removed from his case to be placed inside the tower, offering two display options.
Alexei Shostakov, alias Red Guardian, historically represents the Soviet response to Captain America. In Marvel comics, he is portrayed as a former pilot and agent who became Red Guardian, a symbol of strength and patriotism for the Soviet Union. Various people have held this title, but Alexei Shostakov remains one of its best-known incarnations.
In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Alexei is played by David Harbour and makes his first appearance in *Black Widow*. His story is closely linked to that of Natasha Romanoff, Yelena Belova and Melina Vostokoff. He later joins the team of anti-heroes assembled in *Thunderbolts / The New Avengers*, alongside Yelena, Bucky Barnes, Ghost and U.S. Agent, amongst others.
Avengers Tower, meanwhile, is closely associated with the team’s history. Originally known as Stark Tower, it became one of the Avengers’ main headquarters and a visual symbol of their presence in New York. In the comics, too, Stark Tower is one of the bases used by the team.
