Character background and universe (Lore)

BMO is one of the most iconic characters from *Adventure Time*, an animated series created by Pendleton Ward. This little multi-functional console lives with Finn the Human and Jake the Dog in their home in the heart of the Land of Ooo.

Much more than just an electronic device, BMO is a games console, computer, video player, camera and a companion in his own right. The character has a vivid imagination and regularly stars in his own adventures, taking on different roles and identities depending on the situation.

His naive, cheerful and sometimes unpredictable nature contrasts with the technological nature of his appearance. This very human personality makes him one of the most endearing characters in the series and allows him to take on both comic roles and more emotional moments.

Thanks to his simple design, colourful buttons and screen that serves as his face, BMO has become one of the most recognisable figures in *Adventure Time* and a true symbol of the series’ universe.
