Funko recreates one of the most memorable scenes from *A Christmas Story* with this POP! Movies figurine (No. 2144) dedicated to Ralphie Parker. The young hero is depicted during his punishment, with a bar of soap in his mouth after swearing in front of his father. The figurine measures approximately 9.1 cm and joins the Funko collection dedicated to the 1983 Christmas film.
Ralphie is shown sitting, wearing his brown jumper and his distinctive round glasses. The bar of soap in his mouth is the central feature of the scene and makes it immediately clear which sequence from the film this POP! is inspired by. The stylised design features the range’s typical proportions, with an oversized head and simplified details suited to the Funko format.
This figurine is part of the A Christmas Story range, which also includes other characters and versions inspired by iconic scenes from the film, notably Ralphie in his rabbit costume, Scut Farkus and Randy Parker. It can therefore be displayed on its own or as part of a collection dedicated to the Parker family and the film’s most recognisable moments.
Presented in an illustrated window box, the figurine can be kept in its packaging or displayed straight away. Its standard size of approximately 9.1 cm makes it ideal for a display cabinet, a shelf or a collection dedicated to Christmas films and characters.

Character background and lore
A Christmas Story is a Christmas film released in 1983 that follows Ralphie Parker’s childhood memories in 1940s America. As Christmas approaches, Ralphie has only one thing on his mind: getting a Red Ryder air rifle. However, his parents, his teacher and even Father Christmas try to dissuade him, believing that such a present is too dangerous for him.
The scene depicted by this figurine takes place when Ralphie helps his father change a tyre. After knocking the wheel nuts loose, he lets out a swear word. His mother then punishes him by stuffing a bar of Lifebuoy soap into his mouth, a disciplinary method which Ralphie’s adult narration mocks with great irony.
Ralphie then tries to make it seem as though he learnt the word from his friend Schwartz, when in reality he regularly hears his father using it. After his punishment, his vivid imagination even leads him to fantasise about the dramatic consequences of a hypothetical ‘soap poisoning’, turning a mundane family situation into another comic sequence.
This scene has become one of the most recognisable moments in *A Christmas Story*. POP! No. 2144 recreates it exactly, depicting Ralphie with his glasses, his brown jumper and the soap still in his mouth, making this figurine a direct reference to one of the film’s most famous gags.
