Origin and character background
Miriella is one of the most iconic fictional characters at the heart of the 2.5 Dimensional Seduction (2.5-jigen no Ririsa) universe, Yu Hashimoto’s hit manga centred on a passion for cosplay and otaku culture. She is none other than the favourite virtual character of Lilysa Amano, a passionate high school student who decides to bring her favourite heroine to life by designing a costume of absolute fidelity. It is by embodying Miriella, a mystical angel from a retro video game, that Lilysa turns the daily life of Okumura, the president of the manga study club, upside down.
This 22 cm figurine perfectly captures the magic of this three-dimensional transformation. It showcases Miriella’s intricate and sexy cosplay outfit, her fantasy-inspired design, and her long, voluminous hair, meticulously rendered in relief. The expression on her face, both gentle and captivating, brilliantly captures the concept of ‘2.5-dimensional seduction’, making this figurine a must-have for all admirers of this work that celebrates the art of costume and self-expression.
