Origin and world of the character
The character of Gary De'Snake comes fromZootopia 2, the animated feature film from Walt Disney Studios that follows on from the worldwide hit released at the cinema in 2016. The original universe of the franchise takes place in a unique modern anthropomorphic metropolis, where only mammals (both predators and prey) live together in harmony in different climate-adapted neighbourhoods. The saga explores with intelligence, humour and finesse the themes of diversity, social prejudice and cooperation through police intrigues led by rabbit lieutenant Judy Hopps and trickster fox Nick Wilde. The introduction of Gary De'Snake enriches the gallery of new suspects, allies and eccentric citizens in this immense urban jungle, extending the licence's colourful and detailed graphic universe.
