Origin and character background (Lore)
Created by manga artist Makoto Raiku in 2001, Zatch Bell (Gash Bell in Japan) is one of a hundred demon children sent to Earth every thousand years to take part in a secret tournament to choose the next King of the Demon World. Suffering from amnesia upon his arrival, he meets Kiyomaro Takamine (Kiyo), a gifted but antisocial secondary school pupil. Together, thanks to the power of a mysterious red spellbook, they learn to unleash powerful electric attacks (such as the famous Zaker spell).
Moved by the cruelty of this forced tournament, Zatch vows to claim victory not to rule by force, but to become a ‘benevolent King’ and put a definitive end to the suffering of his fellow demons. This figurine celebrates the indomitable courage of this legendary little hero, adding a touch of nostalgia and positivity to your collection.
