Origin and background of the character (Lore)
Conceived in 1926 by the British writer Alan Alexander Milne and later brought to life by Disney Studios from the 1960s onwards, Winnie-the-Pooh is an anthropomorphic teddy bear brimming with kindness and gentleness. He lives in the heart of the Hundred Acre Wood, an imaginary sanctuary born of the imagination of young Christopher Robin. Surrounded by his loyal friends – such as the shy Piglet, the bouncy Tigger, the wise Eeyore and the melancholic Honeybee – Winnie leads a peaceful life punctuated by writing little poems and the constant search for pots of honey to satisfy his ever-present hunger. This outdoor night light perfectly captures the comforting and innocent atmosphere of the story, transforming a simple garden light into an invitation to daydream, feel nostalgic and contemplate nature.
