Character background and lore
Inspired by modern history and the competitive world of the NBA, Jason Richardson is a figure of legendary origin who has graced American basketball courts in pursuit of a single goal: to maintain his team’s balance and carve out a place for himself amongst the most powerful dunkers in the sporting multiverse. A two-time consecutive winner of the Slam Dunk Contest, he came of age amidst the fiercest battles of the Western Conference, learning to harness his explosive aerial power and absolute mastery of the shot behind a festive demeanour and strict moral values to protect his teammates. It was he who passed on his precious legacy of perseverance to the Warriors franchise before his historic triumph during the ‘We Believe’ era. This marked the start of a gruelling journey on the court, where this big-hearted player used his determination to navigate sporting crises, becoming the indispensable elite scorer needed to halt losing streaks and make a splash in this world of giants.
