Origin and backstory of the character
The Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man collection (translated into French as ‘Votre fidèle serviteur Spider-Man’) celebrates the founding stories of Peter Parker, the young photographer bitten by a radioactive spider. Armed with his web-shooters and his keen spider-sense, he fights crime in Manhattan whilst balancing his life as a student. This figurine captures the definitive, balanced design of his iconic red and blue costume, a symbol of justice and hope for the community. It is the absolute must-have centrepiece to complete the origin trilogy alongside the homemade costume versions and the Alien Monster.
