Studio Ghibli is releasing three previously unreleased films on vinyl for the first time: Ocean Waves (1993), The Cat Returns (2002), and Ghiblies Episode 2. Each vinyl release features a unique cover (final artwork to be released soon) and detailed liner notes. The soundtrack for the short film Ghiblies Episode 2i features nine tracks composed by Manto Watanobe. Lighthearted and eclectic, it includes nostalgic pieces like "Mayim Mayim" and "Humoresque," as well as a cover of "No Woman, No Cry." The album captures the film's quirky humor and charm through a lively blend of classical motifs, folk influences, and pop culture references.
