Character background and lore
In the Universal Monsters film universe, Frankenstein’s Monster is a creature born of the boundless ambition of the mad scientist Henry Frankenstein, who assembles pieces of human bodies to bring them to life. Inspired by Mary Shelley’s literary masterpiece and immortalised on screen by Boris Karloff’s masterful performance in 1931, this monster is not fundamentally evil, but rather a misunderstood and rejected soul, seeking his place in a world that fears him. Hunted by an angry mob armed with torches, the monster epitomises human tragedy, loneliness and the excesses of science. This figurine pays a vibrant tribute to this icon of pop culture and Gothic cinema.
