Origin and character lore
The character of Athena is at the heart of the revolutionary virtual universe of Tron, created by Disney Studios. This science-fiction universe explores the Grid, a highly sophisticated digital world populated by programmes endowed with artificial consciousness, where conflicts are settled through digital gladiatorial games or high-speed races.
A true icon of the saga, the Light Cycle is a futuristic racing vehicle instantly generated using a coding stick. Capable of travelling at dizzying speeds, this light cycle leaves behind a trail of solid, deadly energy capable of disintegrating any opponent who attempts to cross its path. This Pop! Ride figurine perfectly captures Athena’s sleek design, geometric lines and tactical stance in the heat of the race, symbolising the perfect blend of action and cutting-edge technological design.
