Origin and character’s universe
Introduced in 1986 in the cult animated feature filmThe Transformers: The Movie, Cyclonus is the result of a major technological re-engineering orchestrated by the cosmic entity Unicron. Created from the remains of Decepticons left for dead in the void of space (notably Skywarp or Bombshell, depending on the version), he is reborn as a formidable purple space interceptor fighter. Endowed with devastating firepower and absolute loyalty, he instantly becomes second-in-command and Galvatron’s indispensable right-hand man. Unlike most other treacherous Decepticons, Cyclonus stands out for his rigid sense of military honour and his unwavering dedication to the survival of his faction. This commemorative model pays a vibrant, nostalgic tribute to one of the major figures of the second generation of villains in the saga.
