Takara Tomy Missing Link C-15 Figure — Transformers — Ratchet
This high-end articulated figure marks the return of the legendary Autobot medical officer in an exceptional virtual reissue. Designed by Takara Tomy as part of the famous Missing Link range, this unique piece combines the nostalgia of the original design with today’s technological standards.
The model features stunning stylistic details and numerous mechanical improvements. Unlike the original vintage toy from 1984, which split into several pieces, this Ratchet offers a smooth and ingenious one-piece transformation. It shifts from a robot mode with heroic proportions faithful to the anime to its classic alternate vehicle mode: an officially licensed Nissan Cherry Vanette ambulance. The structure incorporates die-cast zinc alloy parts to replicate the weight and robustness of the toys from our childhood. Another major highlight: the figure features a brand-new third mode called ‘Respect Mode’, which faithfully recreates the streamlined silhouette of the very first G1 toy.

Character background and universe (Lore)
In the Transformers G1 universe, Ratchet is the deputy chief medical officer aboard the Ark and a long-standing pillar of the Autobots under the command of Optimus Prime. Whilst he enjoys a good laugh and possesses a sharp, caustic sense of humour, he is first and foremost a genius mechanic capable of getting any robot wounded in battle back on its feet thanks to his laser tools and high-tech operating table. Although he sometimes considers himself secondary due to his more modest combat abilities, his elder wisdom and total devotion to saving lives (whether Cybertronian or human) make him an irreplaceable hero. This figure celebrates a legendary character from the franchise, brought to life here through unique modern engineering.]
