TRANSFORMERS - Megatron - Key Chain

This official The Noble Collection keyring depicts Megatron, the powerful leader of the Decepticons in the Transformers universe. Inspired by his iconic Generation 1 design, the small figurine captures his robotic silhouette in his characteristic silver and black colours.

The figure measures approximately 6.3 cm and features several points of articulation, allowing the character’s position to be adjusted slightly. It is therefore not simply a moulded pendant: Megatron is reproduced as a genuine articulated mini-figure designed to be attached to a set of keys or to decorate a bag.

A metal ring and a carabiner complete the set, making it easy to attach. The total length of the keyring, including the attachment, is approximately 12.7 cm. Its construction from a zinc and iron alloy gives it a metallic finish that is particularly well-suited to the character’s mechanical aesthetic.

Character background and lore

Megatron is one of the central characters in Transformers and the iconic leader of the Decepticons. As the adversary of Optimus Prime and the Autobots, he seeks to increase his own power and that of his army in order to establish Decepticon domination.

In the classic Transformers universe, the Autobots and the Decepticons are two factions of robots originating from Cybertron. Their conflict extends to various planets, notably Earth, where each side seeks to secure the resources and advantages needed to gain the upper hand over its adversary.

Megatron is characterised by his ambition, authority and formidable combat prowess. Hasbro officially presents him as the supreme leader of the Decepticons, willing to do anything to increase his personal power and that of his troops.

This version of the keyring specifically recreates his Generation 1 appearance, recognisable by his angular silhouette and his silver and black colour scheme. It is one of the most iconic representations of the character and the Transformers aesthetic of the 1980s.
