Character background and lore
Based on the hit manga created by Ken Wakui, Tokyo Revengers immerses readers in the turf wars of juvenile delinquents through the eyes of Takemichi Hanagaki, a young man capable of travelling back in time to prevent the criminal decline of the Tokyo Manji (the Toman). At the heart of this organisation, Ken Ryuguji, known as Draken, holds the strategic position of vice-captain and co-founder. Instantly recognisable by his towering height, his long blonde plait and, above all, his iconic dragon tattoo on his left temple, he and Mikey form the Toman’s unshakeable leadership duo.
Whilst Mikey is the gang’s undisputed divine force, Draken is unquestionably its moral conscience. Having grown up in the tough environment of the red-light districts, he possesses a precocious maturity and a strict sense of honour. It is he who constantly reminds the gang members of the lines they must not cross, insisting on respect for civilians and forbidding them from harming the innocent. His presence is the only real bulwark preventing Mikey from succumbing to his destructive impulses, making his survival one of the key factors in Takemichi’s journey through time. This figurine faithfully captures his haughty demeanour and unique style, a must-have for any fan of this action-packed saga.
